MY THOUGHTS~

I was provided with an ARC/Review Copy. I'm a biker junkie and can't resist a good MC/Biker book, so when the opportunity came up to review this series, I jumped all over it!

I read One Ride when it was newer, but never wrote a review for some reason. That gave me the perfect excuse to reread it though! I'm so glad I did, too! I hadn't read nearly as many "Biker/MC" books at the time that I first read this, so I didn't have a lot to compare it to in this sub-genre. I do now, and this book more than stacks up against it's competition. It was very well written both grammar-wise and dialogue/MC environment-wise. The Hellions are true bikers that act and speak as such. That's extremely important to me in any book, but particularly with Bikers. If I don't get the true MC/Biker FEEL, then I can't really get into it at all or respect the work as what it's meant to be. I totally felt it throughout One Ride. While it's not as gritty and doesn't include quite as much violence as some Biker books, those things don't take away from the story at all in this instance. The loyalty, family, brotherhood, "protocol", way of life, all of are there in spades. I couldn't put it down!

I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this series and will recommend it to any and all Biker/MC book lovers out there.
